This project is the result of studying an ecological community. Sixteen interviews are gathered together, and questionnaires are transformed into a community book. The project reveals the diversity of views, experiences, and motivations that exist within a single ecosystem of like-minded people. The foundation of the project is a book made from recycled cellulose with the addition of medicinal plant seeds. After completing its life cycle, the book can fully decompose and become the basis for new growth — a small medicinal herb garden. In this way, the object not only tells about ecological values but also embodies them on a material level.
A personal card was created for each participant. By intuitively choosing a medicinal plant, participants formed their own symbolic connection with the natural world. Each card includes fragments of stabilized plants, turning it into an artifact that connects human stories and the natural world. The chosen plants found continuation in living form. Their seeds were planted and sprouted. The living plants become a symbol of personal contribution to the community's development and serve as a reminder that ecological initiatives, like plants, require time, attention, and collective care in order to grow.
